The period April-July 2016 recorded stabilization of rents in offices and stores. Rents at popular shopping streets of Athens were stable during the first half of 2016 and ranged from 100-140€/sq.m.
It is worthy to notice that in some cases we had small increases.
The demand was stable in shopping streets of Ermou and the areas of Kifissia - Kolonaki - Glyfada. And the malls showed stabilization although the rents are ranged low by 40-45 € / sq.m.
In offices the average rents, for high quality buildings, held in the first half of 2016 from € 11-14 / sqm.
Investors seek returns of at least 8% when it comes to purchase high quality office building, leased to healthy companies into good and commercial areas of Athens, such as Kifissias Avenue, the center of Athens and in Syntagma. The demand is mostly directed to offices of 500-1500 sq.m ..
Also interest is shown in old buildings with the possibility of renovation, for the creation of small hotels in the center of Athens.
