Energy class A building

For many years, our construction company has invested in bioclimatic architecture by studying the microclimate of the area, where with the combination of renewable energy sources (geothermal - solar panels - solar walls, etc.) we manage to almost zero the cost of cooling-heating, achieving our goal of complete independence from oil.

● We use external frames with almost zero thermal transmittance and with high airtightness.
● We use materials with high thermal capacity.
● We reduce thermal loads by using special high reflectivity materials.
● We eliminate thermal bridges by installing a thermal facade.
● We plant trees in the surrounding area in suitable locations to achieve the interception of northerly winds.
● The solar chimney plays an important role in the energy behavior of the building.
● The layout of the spaces of a bioclimatic house is of great importance, e.g. the bedrooms are located on the south side of the building to have plenty of sunshine during the winter months, while the dining room and kitchen are located on the east side of the building to have brightness and solar energy in the first hours of the day.
● Stairs, corridors and storage rooms are located on the north side of the building.
● The green roof protects the building in summer from high temperatures and in winter from low temperatures, beyond the aesthetics and the green landscape and the production of oxygen from the bushes and plants.
● With heat pumps we reduce heating costs by up to 60% with a simultaneous reduction in (CO2) emissions by 50% compared to conventional oil heating.
The heat pump has the advantage that with the consumption of 1 KW of electricity we can get up to 5 KW of thermal energy in a well-insulated building.

Seismic armor

The specifications we use for seismic protection are much higher than those defined by the state.

● In the studies we increase the seismic acceleration by at least 30%.
● We do not use tie beams in the foundations but a general raft foundation.
● The entire concrete process from production to transport and laying is thoroughly checked and samples are taken at various stages of concreting.
● The concreting of the foundation and the walls in the basement are done simultaneously to have complete watertightness.

Building control and security

● The control and security of the building that we have been implementing for many years is based on the smart building that with electronic systems and automation we can achieve the operation of the building remotely via mobile phone, e.g. opening-closing heating, windows, lighting, etc.
● The alarm is connected to external cameras-detectors and beams that record every suspicious movement on the DVR and activate the alarm.
● The use of optical fibers is the best solution in transmission media because they have a very large bandwidth with the result that we achieve high transmission speeds.
